Toyota actually owns and operates not only Toyota, but also its other car divisions Lexus and Scion. It has 522 subsidiaries and has a majority shareholding in Daihatsu Motors. Aside from these, Toyota also has some minority shareholdings in Fuji Heavy Industries, Isuzu Motors, and Yamaha Motors. Toyota plans to change its name to Toyota Corporation by 2008.
